The original Schmid 1848 website was created 8 June 2017. Its purpose is to celebrate our ancestors who courageously left Württemberg, Germany and Limburg, Holland, to settle in Carver, Hennepin, and Stearns Counties of Minnesota. We hope to learn more about our ancestors, and to provide an easy central location for sharing ancestral histories with future generations, though history, memories, articles, web links, stories, documentation, and photos.
